Simple Pleasures and Unspoken Language

I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls off a string.

Today my teenage daughters and I went to the grocery store , and together we chose food for our family.
It made me very happy to do this together with them. When we returned home we put everything away, and cleaned out the refrigeratorand cabinets like a well oiled machine, each attending to our self assigned tasks.
I revel in this experience--in the fact that I am so very present in these moments.
For we are sharing the unspoken language of 'learning by doing.'

It happens without intention;
yet when we are present,
we become AWARE that it's happening.

At times, we take this unspoken language for granted.
This time, I have not.

This time I will remember.
For It is part of my purpose,
as Mother, as friend.
And I am grateful  God has made me who I am.

(I believe this anonymous quote was one of the nicest and sweetest, most poetic and true, simple pleasures  I've read. Thank you Mr. or Mrs. Anonymous. I'm awed time and time again by your wisdom. I hope one day we'll meet. And  thanks for the Inspiration.
Because of your observation, and your willingness to share, I was inspired to write about it, too.)

Thank YOu

I was browsing through blogs when I found this. It is a wonderful blog, Gloria. Nice to know tat you are a writer and reader too. :)

I blog often too.
But more than a blogger, I am a writer, and author as I don't get much time on computer being a medical student.

This post holds a significant meaning for me. I believe in the small things that matter and that the present moment is the best to be.

You can find my
